Description
This is a great lesson for beginning to intermediate improvisers on learning to hear the chord changes on easier tunes.
This lesson is based off of the tune “When the Saints Go Marching In” as played by Louis Armstrong.
I talk about how to figure out the chord changes to this simple tune, as well as learning to play it in different keys. I provide you with a lead sheet in Bb,Eb and C.
I also give you 5 tools you can use to improvise over these changes.
I play the examples on the video with my soprano saxophone. (34 Minute Video)
