Description
Improvising on major tonalities can be one of the most frustrating things for an improvisers. Many times the major scale is the first thing we learn, but playing interesting and compelling lines on a major chord can be one of the hardest things to do. In this lesson I teach you how to work with my “Mastering the Major Bebop Scale & Sound” book. I give you the tools and instruction you need to conquer those nice sounding major chords and to finally play some great and hip sounding lines over them as you improvise. I show you how to work from the beginning and give you a general overview of what the book teaches and how to work through it. I demonstrate on the tenor saxophone. You will also need my book “Mastering the Major Bebop Scale & Sound” to get the most out of this lesson.(Audio & Video)
