Description
This is a beginner improviser series for tenor sax. In this series of lessons I will take you from the very beginning and teach you how to improvise.
In this lesson 8B, I teach you how to start using my II-V-I Primer to add patterns to your practice routine. The II-V-I Primer starts at the very beginning and becomes harder as you work through the book.
The goal of this book is to work on different patterns in all 12 keys to get you used to practicing patterns in all keys.
You will need my II-V-I Primer to get the most out of this lesson and to be able to continue on through the beginner improvisation lessons as we move forward.
My goal with these series of lessons is too teach you all the basic chords and scales in every key and get you improvising in a fluent way over some common jazz standards. I demonstrate all the material on my tenor saxophone. (33 Minute Video & PDF)

Found this lesson to be very useful, can’t wait to get stuck in to my practise now, feeling very motivated after feeling a bit stuck in a rut!
