Here’s a great Joshua Redman interview that someone shared on facebook. I was blown away by the honesty and sincerity of Joshua Redman. You don’t get any sense that he is trying to act or pretend like he is something he is not. He’s just being honest and sincere to who he is. Joshua Redman has been one of my favorite players since the mid 90’s when I first heard “Mood Swing”. I appreciate his honesty in this interview. It is so refreshing to here an artist speak with humility in this day and age. Check it out!

Hi Steve ,
How’s it going ?
Man what a great interview, you can just see the passion in his face ,
Joshua is coming down to N.Z. in June I better get my ticket , the great Larry Carlton is playing the night after & I have my ticket to that one , the greats don’t come down to N.Z. that often so I better bite the bullet & get a ticket to see Joshua as well .
Hey Steve hope your health is great .
Take care
Jeff

It is just unbelievable to hear him saying that he did not get seriours about saxophone before the age of 30 when you know the albums he made during his twenties…!!!
And in the meantime he was in Harvard… A very gifted person !!
Thank you for sharing Steve
