Happy New Year! This is a Morgan piece that I won off ebay. These are the best mouthpieces for the price out there. I’ve owned 3 of these as well as 3 of his clarinet mouthpieces. Very consistent work. You know when you order a Morgan that you won’t get a dud. This has a more focused tone and is a little brighter than a 9L mouthpiece that I use to have.

Hi Steve, Happy Holidays! We Tenor players, never satisfied with the mouthpiece that we are presently playing , always looking for the holy grail!
I have been very happy the pass two years with my Vandoren Jumbo Java T55 0.098″ unit playing lead Tenor in the sixteen piece band I play with.
But always trying other pieces to see just maybe there’s something out there that’s the real ticket. Well today I hit a home run! I played tested from the Ralph Morgan company Excalibur 8M 0.100″ Tenor mouthpiece, it blew me away! It’s bright, brilliant, powerful, & has a nice edge to it. And to make things even sweater, it came with a special Holiday Sale Price called”Discount Merry20″, twenty off regular price. Ditto on everything you say in your evaluation above. For the money it’s a very nice mouthpiece.
