No USA Florida Link .105
This is a Florida Link I bought off ebay awhile ago. I bought it because it was refaced and the seller didn’t know who had done it. When I saw the pictures I was pretty confident that it was Theo Wanne’s work. I can’t be 100% certain but I’ve had a few links that he had refaced and the tip looked just like this one. they have a very distinct look to them. It played well when I got it but the facing felt shorter than I like so I sent it to Brian Powell to lengthen to 25mm.

This link as that core link sound to it. Everytime I play it I can imagine Coltrane playing a link like this and getting that classic link sound. You always hear all these players talking about Florida Links and after playing this one I can see why!

Oh wow, when I heard this one, I knew i needed a mouthpiece that plays like that! very dark and beefy!! 🙂
